Nag your friends and family members to resolve to make Wills this year. As reported on this site at the end of 2007, over 27 million adults in the UK do not have Wills. That is about 64% of the adult population! But it gets worse…

20% of the 36% who do have Wills (ie about 7%) last made or updated their Wills over 15 years ago or more. So, only about 29% of the adult population have Wills that stand any chance of being current or valid.

Perhaps predictably, of those who do have a Will only 3% are aged between 16-24 years old and 70% are aged over 65.
